CareTrack Study - How Good is our Health Care? (by UNSW)
Two professors from UNSW talking about patient health outcomes. They say that in their study only 57% of patients received “best practice” care, meaning that 43% didn’t.
They talk, very briefly, about a smartphone app which would make clear to the patient (!) what best practice is for their particular condition.
The video concludes with the younger of the two profs saying:
“the best care has always been a partnership between very good doctors and very good patients”.
